Face-to-Face Hypnotherapy Sessions

I’m pleased to say that I have re-started face-to-face hypnotherapy sessions and I look forward to welcoming more clients back to the clinic.

I am able to offer face-to-face sessions at The Cathedral Road Clinic in Pontcanna, Cardiff, and appointments are being held here on Thursdays and Fridays. I am still offering sessions online, via Zoom, and we can even have sessions over the phone.

For our safety there have been some necessary changes to the way sessions are conducted at the clinic and I have outlined these below.

COVID-19 Protection Procedures

A risk assessment is carried out for every session at the clinic.

Spot-Checking Our Health Status

All clients are being contacted prior to each appointment to spot check their health status. If either myself or a client is experiencing any symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) we will rearrange the appointment.

Keeping a Safe Distance

Clients are requested to arrive no more than five minutes prior to our appointment time. The clinic diary is planned to avoid cross-over of clients and to give adequate time to thoroughly sanitise rooms between each client.

A 2 metre distance will be maintained between us during all parts of the consultation. To maintain the 2 metre distance between us only one person can be allowed into the consultation room. If you need the assistance of a companion please consider remote (online or phone) appointments.

The number of people in the waiting room at any one time is restricted. Family and friends of clients are requested to wait in their cars or outside the practice.

Sanitising Hands and Surfaces

All clients, practitioners and reception staff are required to wash their hands on entering the clinic building. Hand sanitiser is provided in the entrance hall and in the therapy room.

I use hand sanitiser before and after seeing each client. I wipe down all surfaces between clients, including door handles, therapy couch, chairs and anything else we may touch.

For ease of cleaning there are no blankets or other soft coverings on the therapy couch and pillow. I put fresh couch roll on the therapy couch and pillow.

Extra Safety in the Therapy Room

All clients and practitioners are required to wear a face covering.

Making a Payment Safely

Clients are encouraged to pay remotely, by bank transfer, where possible. If you wish to pay by cash or by cheque I have an envelope for you to drop the payment into.

If you have any questions at all regarding these protection measures, or hypnotherapy in general, please call 07514 931 096 or email me using the contact form.
